1. SELL ALL OF YOUR OLD CLOTHES

Poshmark is amazing for selling all of your old clothing! You would not believe how many clothes you can make money off of that are in your closet right now!

Poshmark is an amazing site that enables you to have your own “store” for free! They don’t charge you anything until you sell an item. The fee is usually around $3, so keep that in mind when you list your items. 

With Poshmark, the shipping is always taken care of by the buyer. All you have to do is print the label once your item(s) sell. So easy.

Once you have money in your account, you can use it to buy other items from sellers or have it transfered to your bank account. I personally, save up money in my Poshmark account and buy the kids clothes when they need it.

Some quick tips for selling on Poshmark:

• Take good pictures! I cannot stress this enough. It doesn’t have to be hard at all to take good pictures either. Just find a nice window to set your items near. The easiet and cheapest way to get a nice background is with a sheet of white poster board! So cheap and simple. I feel like this gives the items a really clear and non distracted background.
• Download the app Snapseed. You will be so glad that you did. This program is very simple to use. It allows you to clear up lighting with Saturation and Ambiance settings. Always clean up your image.
• Look up your item first and see what it sold for previously. If you list too high, you’re never going to sell it.
• Always share your whole closet before you go to bed and on weekends. This is when the most people are on, and you get the most sales!
• If you need quick cash, sell what goes fast. Things that I cannot keep long are: Under Armour Hoodies, Victoria Secret Bras, ANYTHING Bath & Bodyworks, and Yankee Candles (even used ones!)

• Always be honest with every blemish, defect, and if you have animals in the home. Some people get really upset when they find hair.

2. SELL OLD TOYS AND ELECTRONICS

Mercari is a great app to sell the old toys and household items. You can sell clothes and candles on  here too. I have found that I don’t get as much money for clothing on Mercari unless it is listed in a bundle. A bundle of clothing is an easy sell though. So if you’re not too torn up about how much you will make, just sell it all together. 

Tips for Mercari:

• Always take good pictures in great lighting. The same goes for this app like the one I mentioned above. Take great photos and edit the pictures.
• ALWAYS weigh your pieces like you would ship beforehand. The shipping is quite pricey for anything over a pound. Keep that in mind! Sometimes it is worth it to increase the price and offer free shipping. Free shipping tends to sell items faster.
• Search for your product and check out how much it has previously sold for. Mercari has a button that allows you to see what sold.
• Share with friends! Much like I’m doing now with my own links, send your link to your friends and family. You’ll earn money much faster this way. You will see your own link as soon as you sign up.
• I always sell bras fast, no matter where I list them so this is obviously a hot item. Brand new sneakers, hoodies, Legos and electronics are huge sellers as well.

3. MAKE MONEY FROM BUYING GROCERIES!

You’re already buying groceries and household essentials, right? So why not make money while doing it?! Please don’t do anymore grocery shopping without using these apps. We all need the cash right now!

I made $50 just yesterday from buying my weekly groceries. So easy. I got the money instantly too!

Swagbucks is a wonderful place to get cashback on groceries but it also has a ton of other ways to earn free cash. You can’t make as much off of games and surveys but it is something to do in your free time. So why not make money at it?

The greatest thing about couponing these days is that the sites will link to your account when you buy online. Make sure you go through the Swagbucks site before buying anything so that you get more points! And always, always, always make sure you read the fine print. Sometimes you have to buy two of something to qualify. 

If you’re buying online, be careful that you don’t leave a webpage after you have gone through Swagbucks. You could lose your link and forfeit your points.

It really is easy to use and a lot of fun. I got a $15 Amazon card just yesterday!

Ibotta is another favorite of mine. It works like Swagbucks but the main focus is groceries and essential items. 

It is so easy and simple to use. Plus, a lot of these apps give you a few points just for scanning in any reciept! I had old ones in my purse that worked right away!

Before you scan receipts though, always make sure you add deals to you Ibotta account first. Once you scan the receipt, the cash back will be instant.
